“The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” – Psalm 34:18

Reflection

God does not stand far away from pain. He draws closer. When your heart feels heavy, when Grief or exhaustion presses in, Scripture reminds us that God is near – not disappointed, not distant, but close.

Being “brokenhearted” does not disqualify you from God’s presence. It invites it. Even when words fail and strength feels gone, God meets you exactly where you are, offering quiet comfort and steady love.

Today, you don’t need to fix everything. You only need to breathe and remember: God is with you in this moment.

Prayer Prompt

Lord I bring You my tired heart today. I ask for Your nearness, Your comfort, and You are gentle strength. Help me trust that You are close, even when I feel weak. Amen.
